Bush Therapy

Postby Spleefy » Fri Aug 09, 2019 10:33 am

I thought I would post some photos I took while out on my adventures...

I go running in the bush on regular basis. Nature--combined with running--is by far one of the notable "ingredients" that helped me to overcome severe clinical depression and anxiety.

The breeze caressing your body, the sun kissing you, the birds singing a melody to you, what more could one want?

OK, I don't know about you, but I'm pumped. Let's go for a run...

Now for the final push. I love running up steep hills. Not only do they get your heart racing, muscles pumping, but hills are an analogy for overcoming obstacles in my life. Behind that last hill is another hill, before stretching out for another 2-3km to the highway.

This is at the top of the steep hill. This is the last hill before it stretches out...
