Profound post as always, Ken! So glad you are back with us... you've been missed. You are truly never alone... you always have all of us here to listen, support, and offer you friendship.

Glad you are back posting Ken.

Whenever I see that there is a post from you. I will not just skim though it once, often I have to read it a couple or three times before I feel that I can reply.

You are a very thoughtful man.

You are right when you are say that you are a strong man. Too often, those of us with a mental illness diagnosis are not the weakest links, but the strongest.

Looking foward to hearing from you again.

That child needs the man that you are, Ken. So glad that you are standing by his side, fighting this beast together.

I swear, Ken... when you write I can literally see the movie in front of me. I know it comes from pain, which is unfortunate, but the beauty of your writing shines through the pain and reading it is truly a wonderful experience. They do say that all great art comes from sadness though, right?

Glad you are back to posting, Ken... you've been missed.

Ken... it is quite an accomplishment that you stopped drinking. I hope you are proud of yourself for that. Stopping drinking is difficult, as is any addiction, and it seems that you learned a great deal in those years, and have carried it with you thus far.

As for your friends... they probably were great. You were all into the same things, and you had each others backs. That is important in life. You guys may not have been doing the right things, but you were young, right? It's over now, and hopefully you can laugh about some of the things that you did - even if they weren't that funny at the time.

((((ken))))
