Re: New

I hear you. I exercised to treat the Big D with adrenalin. It worked, but I broke my back now and feel like I dont want to live. So, I was thinking to start meds, but you say they dont work? I need something. I know how you feel. I am living in hell with you here. I understand how hard it is. Others...

Re: Hello. I'm Alex, and I'm new to the forum

Hi Alex. I am in the same boat, depressed and suicidal. It is harder to control now, because the world around the Western US is mad, people literally pulling away from each other like from a plague. Professionals are good to talk to, but they irritate me with telling things I know myself I have to d...

Death is so scary because it removes the hope for meaningless life (not yours, but generally) to finally have some meaning. On another hand, if life without meaning has no value, does that mean life has no value at all, by itself? I've no answer. I'm asking because I'm dying too, just like everyone ...

Judging yourself negatively sounds like a positive thing to me. Humility is a positive trait. You are not a "successful" self-important narcissist impossible to be around. Plus, you are trying to be more positive and balanced about yourself. Do that, but never loose humility.

....really feels like

...really feels like contraction and narrowing of the space and time, nowhere to travel to in the tiny world, nothing to strive for in the face of shortness of one human life, no one to love or hate except for oneself in the world with the only creature of the only specie, no memory to relish in the...

Take heart...Your life is wasted, but so it goes for everyone else you know and don't know, myself excluded. Even if you become the president of the world and solve all the social and economic problems, the human kind will forget you if not in 100 years, then in 1000 for sure. Just recall how many p...

4EverMe, the whole idea of clairvoyance and premonitions is quite interesting. When you can forsee something that doesn't end well and get worried about it, can you forsee that after that bad outcome you would still be there re-evaluating it and using it for good ends? Of course, after you benefit a...

Isn't it interesting 4EverMe, how some people can fundamentally change their lives for the better by committing to another (tying a knot or in other ways), while others bring all of their problems into the relationship in hopes it would make them go away and seeing that it made the whole thing worse...

4EverMe, my days are resembling grasping at a handful of tasty grapes off the vine on a vertical wall as i'm falling off the cliff. I've been trying to get on the water in a kayak, windsurfing or stand-up paddleboard almost every day off lately. I don't know why, but being there alone and self-suffi...

Ayrton, I find your writing style impressively clear and semantically and grammatically correct. But, since you are not immersed in the same English-speaking environment, I'll take a liberty to clarify: the word silliness = in the US means funny, entertaining, although long ago (and even now in some...

Hi, 4EverMe, No I haven't read Dean Koontz. Probably, because of my narrow-minded aversion to most fiction. Although I'm not sure I can give a definition of what "fiction" is. Isn't everything we read to some degree fiction, unless we read it while the narrative is happening simultaneously...

What are my days like? A mixture of reading (non-fiction popular scientific stuff), athletic activities and a social gathering of esoteric or cultural nature now and then. Mostly, my days are filled with long time sleeping and dreaming the dreams I stopped recording and analyzing. So, mostly I feel ...

No, you don't sound normal. Normal means fit for society, so that society can rely on you and replace you at any time with another normal. But by not being normal you are irreplaceable, although it makes it harder in many other ways for both, you and society. I know, because neither am I a normal on...

Everyone is having an incurable decease. Everyone is dying, only at different rates. The difference between us and them, who are (and/or seem) to be happy is that they are not aware of (and/or not displaying) that knowledge. We cannot be like them, because we don't want to be blind or fake. There is...
